El día Sábado 7 de Agosto, voluntarias de la Sociedad de Socorro que tiene como su lema: “La Caridad nunca deja de ser” del sector Limatambo dirigidas por su presidenta Nehry Naranjo de Hanke, visitaron la oficina del ALINEN al interior del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas – INEN para entregar las prendas de abrigo destinados a los pacientes con cáncer a Carol Rodríguez, Administradora del ALINEN, quien recibió la donación acompañada por la voluntaria Miluska Cano.
Las prendas de abrigo donadas fueron confeccionadas por el voluntariado de mujeres de la Sociedad de Socorro durante el mes de Julio pasado con el propósito de contribuir a aliviar el sufrimiento de las personas afectadas por el difícil proceso del cáncer a través del voluntariado de la institución que desarrolla la noble tarea de ayudar y asistir a los pacientes oncológicos.
Carol Rodríguez a nombre del voluntariado de damas del ALINEN, agradeció “El hermoso gesto solidario y bella iniciativa que permitirá abrigar con amor a los pacientes con cáncer del hospital”.
Las voluntarias de la Sociedad de Socorro de la Iglesia de Jesucristo, una de las organizaciones más grandes y más antiguas del mundo, dejaron la donación al ALINEN con la satisfacción de un corazón conmovido por la oportunidad de poder ayudar y servir al prójimo.

On Saturday August 7, volunteers from the Relief Society whose motto is: “Charity never ceases to be” from the Limatambo sector, led by its president, Nehry Naranjo de Hanke, visited the ALINEN office inside the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases – INEN to deliver the warm clothes for cancer patients to Carol Rodríguez, Administrator of ALINEN, who received the donation accompanied by the volunteer Miluska Cano.
The donated outerwear were made by the Relief Society women’s volunteers during the month of July with the purpose of helping to alleviate the suffering of people affected by the difficult process of cancer through the volunteering of the institution that develops the noble task of helping and assisting cancer patients.
