La reunión, en la que el jefe del Estado recibió el saludo protocolar de Almagro, se realizó previo a su participación en la sesión del Consejo Permanente de la OEA.
En la cita, realizada en privado, se abordaron diversos ejes temáticos, donde el mandatario también dio a conocer los temas de su intervención en la sesión del Consejo Permanente, tales como la lucha contra la pandemia, y la necesidad acabar las desigualdades sociales y el flagelo de la corrupción.
En el encuentro con Almagro, el presidente Castillo estuvo acompañado por el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Óscar Maúrtua; y el representante permanente del Perú ante la OEA, Harold Forsyth.

The meeting, in which the head of state received the formal greeting from Almagro, was held prior to his participation in the session of the OAS Permanent Council.
At the meeting, held in private, various thematic axes were addressed, where the president also announced the topics of his speech at the Permanent Council meeting, such as the fight against the pandemic, and the need to end social inequalities and the scourge of corruption.
