En ese sentido todo se encuentra listo para la Sétima Semana del Cine de la Universidad de Lima (Ulima), encuentro cinematográfico que, desde mañana viernes 12 de noviembre y por segundo año consecutivo, se llevará a cabo de manera virtual, a través del portal https://www.semanadelcine.ulima.edu.pe/ .

Serán ocho días en los que el público que se registre online podrá disfrutar – totalmente gratis – de 41 obras, entre cortometrajes y películas, especialmente seleccionados para incentivar el amor por el sétimo arte y propiciar la producción cinematográfica nacional, mediante encuentros con reconocidos realizadores y otras actividades de acceso libre.

Del total de obras disponibles, 20 son peruanas y 21 internacionales, las cuales se podrán disfrutar desde la comodidad del hogar, mediante cualquier dispositivo móvil conectado a Internet.

MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL
Previa inscripción en el portal oficial, la Sétima Semana del Cine de la Ulima presentará una selección de películas galardonadas procedentes de Francia, Grecia, Malta, Italia, Argentina, Kosovo, Japón, Reino Unido, Turquía, Estados Unidos, Corea del Sur e Indonesia.

Entre ellas destacan La Rueda de la Fortuna y la Fantasía, ganadora del Oso de Plata – Gran Premio del Jurado en el Festival de Berlín 2021 y Yuni, ganadora del premio Platform del Festival de Toronto 2021. Otras películas en exhibición serán Luzzu, premio especial del jurado en el Festival de Sundance 2021, y Luna, película griega ganadora del Festival de Reykjavik (Islandia). Asimismo, se podrá apreciar la película argentina Implosión, ganadora del Gran Premio de la Competencia Argentina en el Festival de Cine Independiente de Buenos Aires 2021.

CONCURSO NACIONAL
Este año, obras de cineastas procedentes de Áncash, Arequipa, San Martín, Loreto, La Libertad, Junín y Lima fueron seleccionadas para participar en el Concurso de Cine Peruano, que otorgará al ganador un premio de S/9000. También se otorgará un premio especial para otro seleccionado, esta vez por S/4000.

Finalmente, gracias a la Cátedra Unesco, los cinéfilos también tendrán la oportunidad de ver dos cortometrajes: La captura, de Carlos Quiroz (Perú) y Amor del 48, de Giovanni Andrés Arias (Colombia).
