El presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo, sostendrá reuniones bilaterales con sus homólogos de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador; de Bolivia, Luis Arce; y de Cuba, Miguel Díaz – Canel, como parte de la agenda oficial de su primera gira internacional por México y Estados Unidos, que se realizará del 17 al 22 de setiembre, y donde cumplirá diversas actividades oficiales.

A su llegada a México, el mandatario peruano y su delegación fueron recibidos por el secretario general de Relaciones Exteriores del país norteamericano, Marcelo Ebrad; y la secretaria de Cultura, Alejandra Frausto.

El jefe de Estado asistirá a la VI Cumbre de la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CELAC), este sábado 18 de setiembre, donde se reunirá con representantes de más de 30 países, a fin de lograr la firma del Acuerdo de Constitución de la Agencia Latinoamericana y del Caribe del Espacio, que será suscrito por los cancilleres de los países participantes en dicho evento.

Además, durante su visita a México, se reunirá con la secretaria Ejecutiva de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (Cepal), Alicia Bárcena. En otras actividades, participará de la inauguración de la exposición “Camina el autor”, de Huamán Poma de Ayala, en el Museo Nacional de Antropología de México.

De otro lado, el domingo 19 de setiembre, se prevé su visita al colegio Amauta, donde sostendrá un encuentro con alumnos de la ciudad mexicana.

Posteriormente, el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo, junto a su comitiva oficial, llegará a Washington (Estados Unidos), el domingo 19 de setiembre, a las 15:00 horas.

La comitiva presidencial está conformada por los ministros de Relaciones Exteriores, Óscar Maúrtua; de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke; de Salud, Hernando Cevallos; y de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Roberto Sánchez.

In other activities, he will participate in the opening of the exhibition “Walk the Author”, by Huamán Poma de Ayala, at the National Museum of Anthropology of Mexico.

On the other hand, on Sunday, September 19, he is expected to visit the Amauta school, where he will hold a meeting with students from the Mexican city.
