“Las autoridades estamos para trabajar por los usuarios. Cuando uno piensa en el usuario pensamos en educar a choferes, en establecer paraderos y rutas fija, y en muchos otros aspectos que tenemos que trabajar con ustedes”, dijo el ministro Silva a los representantes de los gremios que prestan el servicio de transporte urbano.

Con ello, exhortó a los gremios a enfocarse en los usuarios para emprender mejoras en el servicio de transporte.

El ministro Silva se mostró a favor de las inversiones en el servicio de transporte, por ello, exhortó a los transportistas a presentar sus propuestas.

En tanto, el jefe de gabinete de asesores del MTC, Anatoly Bedriñana; la presidenta ejecutiva de la ATU, María Jara; y la superintendente de SUTRAN, Patricia Cama, se sumaron al diálogo con los agremiados.

La cita de trabajo contó con la participación de integrantes de la Unión de Gremios de Transporte Multimodal del Perú, la Cámara de Transporte Urbano, la Alianza de Empresas de Movilidad Urbana Sostenible, la Coordinadora de Empresas de Transporte de Urbano de Lima y Callao, el Consorcio Empresarial del Callao y la Corporación Nacional de Empresas de Transporte.

También asistieron los representantes de la Asociación de Concesionarios de Transporte Urbano, la Asociación de Concesionarios de Transporte Urbano, la Asociación de Empresas del Sindicato de Transportistas del Callao y la Federación de Transportistas.

Se acordó conformar mesas técnicas de trabajo entre los representantes de los gremios y del MTC, ATU y SUTRAN, a fin de buscar alternativas de solución, de manera conjunta y articulada y en el marco de las competencias del sector, a la problemática del transporte urbano que atraviesan los transportistas durante muchos años.
