Municipalidad de Lima propone al gobierno para que la música criolla sea declarada patrimonio cultural de la nación.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe A casi un mes del Día de la Canción Criolla, la Municipalidad de Lima continúa trabajando para que esta expresión cultural sea declarada Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación, en el marco de la implementación del Plan Maestro para la recuperación material e inmaterial del Centro Histórico de Lima.

Mediante este proceso se busca sustentar la vigencia e importancia de dicha práctica cultural, la misma que genera identidad y se transmite de generación en generación.

A la fecha, un equipo de Prolima ha llevado a cabo siete mesas de trabajo con miembros portadores de la comunidad de la música criolla en Lima, alcanzando a más de 120 personas, incluyendo a menores de 7 a 17 años. Dichas reuniones tienen como objetivo recoger sus prácticas y saberes, y desarrollar de forma colaborativa un expediente técnico para la declaratoria, que será presentado al Ministerio de Cultura para su revisión.

A inicios de octubre Prolima comenzará la redacción del documento que describirá y analizará la historia, valor y vigencia de la música criolla. El mismo incluirá un plan de salvaguarda de dicha expresión cultural, que propone acciones en base a las oportunidades identificadas por los portadores en las mesas de trabajo.

La versión final de dicho expediente será comentada y validada por la comunidad de portadores y todos aquellos interesados en formar parte del proceso, en aras de fortalecer la participación ciudadana.

Cabe señalar que, como parte de este trabajo, Prolima viene editando un libro sobre la música criolla de Lima, que será publicado próximamente.

Through this process it is sought to sustain the validity and importance of said cultural practice, the same that generates identity and is transmitted from generation to generation.

To date, a Prolima team has carried out seven workshops with members of the Creole music community in Lima, reaching more than 120 people, including children between 7 and 17 years old. These meetings are intended to collect their practices and knowledge, and collaboratively develop a technical file for the declaration, which will be presented to the Ministry of Culture for review.

At the beginning of October Prolima will begin the writing of the document that will describe and analyze the history, value and validity of Creole music. It will include a safeguarding plan for said cultural expression, which proposes actions based on the opportunities identified by the bearers at the work tables.

The final version of said file will be commented and validated by the community of carriers and all those interested in being part of the process, in order to strengthen citizen participation.

It should be noted that, as part of this work, Prolima has been publishing a book on the Creole music of Lima, which will be published soon.
