Un hombre de 39 años, que fue diagnosticado con la variante delta del COVID-19, logró vencer la enfermedad y fue dado de alta del hospital Pucallpa de EsSalud donde recibió atención médica especializada que hizo posible su recuperación.

El paciente Juan Valles Ríos estuvo internado 17 días en la Unidad de Cuidados Intermedios (UCIN) del referido nosocomio tras presentar fiebre, tos seca y problemas respiratorios que le causó la variante del mortal virus.

Durante los días que permaneció en UCIN, Valles recibió tratamiento de oxigenoterapia y otras atenciones por parte de un equipo multidisciplinario, conformado por médicos, enfermeras y técnicos de la salud, que hizo posible su recuperación.

Luego, el paciente fue trasladado al área de hospitalización para recibir terapias de respiración post covid que le ayudaron a superar algunas secuelas que le dejó el nuevo coronavirus.

IMPORTANCIA DE LA VACUNA
El director de la Red Asistencial Ucayali de EsSalud, Francisco Samaniego, resaltó que la vacuna contra la Covid-19, que recibió el paciente, evitó que presentara cuadros graves de la enfermedad.

“Este caso deja en evidencia lo importante que es recibir la vacuna contra el virus, dado que él tenía las dos dosis, lo que generó que el efecto de la Covid-19 sea menos agresivo en su organismo”, puntualizó.

Luego de superar la enfermedad, Juan Valles fue dado de alta y abandonó el hospital en medio de la algarabía y felicidad del personal de salud que estuvo a cargo de su atención. Ahora vuelve a casa para reencontrarse con su familia.

De acuerdo con el último reporte oficial, en Ucayali se reportaron nueve casos de la variante delta, por lo que el director de la Red Asistencial de EsSalud instó a la población a continuar manteniendo las medidas de bioseguridad como son el uso de la doble mascarilla, lavado de manos y distanciamiento social para prevenir los contagios.

The director of the Ucayali Healthcare Network of EsSalud, Francisco Samaniego, stressed that the vaccine against Covid-19, which the patient received, prevented him from presenting serious pictures of the disease.

“This case shows how important it is to receive the vaccine against the virus, given that he had both doses, which caused the effect of Covid-19 to be less aggressive in his body,” he said.

After overcoming the disease, Juan Valles was discharged and left the hospital amid the excitement and happiness of the health personnel who were in charge of his care. Now he returns home to reunite with his family.

According to the latest official report, in Ucayali nine cases of the delta variant were reported, so the director of the EsSalud Assistance Network urged the population to continue maintaining biosecurity measures such as the use of the double mask, hand washing and social distancing to prevent infections.
