El secretario de Descentralización de la PCM, Jesús Quispe Arones, fue el encargado de inaugurar el evento donde resaltó la importancia de trabajar de manera articulada con la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital para lograr la descentralización tecnológica enfocada en la ciudadanía a nivel nacional.

“En la era de la tecnología, la digitalización es un proceso importante que debemos impulsar para lograr la descentralización digital en el país. Por ello, agradezco a la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital por sumarse a este esfuerzo con el fin contribuir con el bienestar y la generación de oportunidades para toda la ciudadanía. Trabajando juntos, lograremos que las herramientas digitales se pongan al servicio de los gobiernos regionales y locales, para alcanzar el desarrollo territorial de nuestro país con la descentralización digital”, remarcó Quispe.

El tema inaugural de este evento fue “Transformación Digital en los Gobiernos Regionales y Locales”, que estuvo a cargo de Marushka Chocobar, secretaria de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de la PCM. Chocobar compartió los avances del país en materia de transformación digital a nivel nacional, el eje 8 de la Política General de Gobierno 2021-2026, las plataformas digitales que están a disposición de los Gobiernos regionales y locales, entre otros.

“Desde la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital venimos impulsando espacios de innovación abierta con el objetivo de escuchar a la ciudadanía para identificar sus necesidades y crear servicios digitales sencillos, accesible, intuitivos e inclusivos. Este trabajo articulado con la Secretaría de Descentralización y los gobiernos regionales y locales permitirá acelerar el cierre de brechas y poner la tecnología al servicio de la población en todo el Perú”, puntualizó Chocobar.

La funcionaria también destacó los retos y desafíos que debe abordar nuestro país respecto a la conectividad, al impulso del talento digital, la economía digital y el emprendimiento digital. Asimismo, resaltó la importancia de articular el Laboratorio de Gobierno y Transformación Digital con laboratorios para los gobiernos regionales y locales, a fin de atender a la ciudadanía en las todas las regiones, provincias y distritos.

Esta actividad está dirigida a las autoridades regionales, municipales y ciudadanía en general, donde se expondrán temas de interés para el desarrollo de los territorios. La primera edición concitó la atención de más de 230 participantes.

El Perú ha crecido sostenidamente en los indicadores internacionales de digitalización. Recientemente, fue publicado el Índice GovTech del Banco Mundial, que ubica al Perú en el Grupo A de los países más avanzados en transformación digital. De igual manera, el Ranking Mundial de Innovación, publicado por la OMPI, ubica al Perú entre los países con mayor desempeño en materia de innovación a nivel mundial. Estos avances son resultados del fortalecimiento de la gobernanza digital, así como del compromiso y acciones llevadas a cabo en todo el ecosistema digital del país.

PCM “Encounters for Decentralization” with emphasis on the digital transformation of all the country’s departments.

The secretary of Decentralization of the PCM, Jesús Quispe Arones, was in charge of opening the event where he highlighted the importance of working in an articulated manner with the Secretary of Government and Digital Transformation to achieve technological decentralization focused on citizenship at the national level.

“In the era of technology, digitization is an important process that we must promote to achieve digital decentralization in the country. For this reason, I thank the Secretary of Government and Digital Transformation for joining this effort in order to contribute to well-being and the generation of opportunities for all citizens. Working together, we will achieve that digital tools are put at the service of regional and local governments, to achieve the territorial development of our country with digital decentralization ”, Quispe remarked.

The opening theme of this event was “Digital Transformation in Regional and Local Governments”, which was in charge of Marushka Chocobar, Secretary of Government and Digital Transformation of the PCM. Chocobar shared the country’s progress in terms of digital transformation at the national level, axis 8 of the General Government Policy 2021-2026, the digital platforms that are available to regional and local governments, among others.

“From the Secretariat of Government and Digital Transformation we have been promoting open innovation spaces with the aim of listening to citizens to identify their needs and create simple, accessible, intuitive and inclusive digital services. This work, coordinated with the Decentralization Secretariat and regional and local governments, will accelerate the closing of gaps and put technology at the service of the population throughout Peru, ”said Chocobar.

The official also highlighted the challenges that our country must address regarding connectivity, the promotion of digital talent, the digital economy and digital entrepreneurship. Likewise, he highlighted the importance of articulating the Government and Digital Transformation Laboratory with laboratories for regional and local governments, in order to serve citizens in all regions, provinces and districts.

This activity is aimed at regional and municipal authorities and the general public, where topics of interest for the development of the territories will be presented. The first edition attracted the attention of more than 230 participants.

Peru has grown steadily in international digitalization indicators. Recently, the World Bank’s GovTech Index was published, which places Peru in Group A of the most advanced countries in digital transformation. Similarly, the World Innovation Ranking, published by WIPO, places Peru among the countries with the highest performance in terms of innovation worldwide. These advances are the results of the strengthening of digital governance, as well as the commitment and actions carried out throughout the country’s digital ecosystem.
