“Estamos interesados en trabajar por ustedes y tienen todo mi respaldo. Las puertas de Palacio de Gobierno están abiertas, no hay necesidad de que gestionen una cita”, sostuvo el mandatario al participar en la ceremonia por el 53 aniversario de la Caja de Protección y Asistencia Social (CPAS), institución que brinda protección y asistencia de salud y social a los vendedores de periódicos, revistas y loterías en el país.
Al expresar su complacencia por estar presente en la actividad, el jefe del Estado remarcó que ser canillita es parte de la dignidad del pueblo peruano.
“Estoy muy agradecido por estar con ustedes. Todo nos pueden quitar, pero no nos quitarán la fuerza de sacar adelante al país y de luchar por devolver la dignidad a los hombres y mujeres que llevan el pan a sus casas con el sudor de su frente. Por eso estamos acá”, enfatizó.
“Estoy aquí porque soy de esta cantera, de este espacio social, y voy a sacar adelante los derechos laborales de todos los trabajadores”, manifestó.
En otro momento, el presidente Castillo afirmó que “trabajaremos gradualmente para que las condiciones dignas de ustedes, de las familias y del pueblo no solo sean agendadas, sino también atendidas”.
La ceremonia se realizó en la sede de la CPAS, ubicada en el jirón Ayacucho 845, en el Cercado de Lima, y en ella también participaron el presidente y el gerente general de la CPAS, Eladio Robles Calderón y Amador Venegas, respectivamente.
