Durante la inauguración del VI Gabinete Binacional Perú–Bolivia, el mandatario sostuvo que es momento de reafirmar la identidad de las dos naciones, hermanadas por el mismo sueño, la misma historia y la misma esperanza. “No miramos límites entre Perú y Bolivia. Trabajemos por los niños, por estas familias, los pueblos vulnerables, para eso hemos venido”, refirió el Jefe de Estado durante su discurso.

En ese marco, Castillo Terrones pidió incluir en la agenda bilateral temas, que generen beneficios a las poblaciones. “Para que los hombres y mujeres que están en este espacio binacional sepan que existen gabinetes y gobiernos de ambos lados que estamos trabajando por ellos”, remarcó.

El presidente Pedro Castillo y su homólogo del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, Luis Arce, lideran la sexta edición del Gabinete Binacional, suspendido el año pasado debido a la emergencia sanitaria por la COVID-19.

Participan en la reunión, por el lado del Perú, la presidenta del Consejo de Ministros, Mirtha Vásquez, así como los titulares de diversas carteras ministeriales.

El VI Gabinete Binacional trabaja cuatro ejes temáticos: (I) Medio ambiente y recursos hídricos transfronterizos; (II) Seguridad y Defensa; (III) Desarrollo económico, políticas sociales y fortalecimiento institucional; e (IV) Infraestructura para la integración y el desarrollo. Co​ncluida la reunión, ambos gobernantes suscribirán la Declaración Conjunta Presidencial.

PRESIDENTE CASTILLO AL ARRIBAR A BOLIVIA: “VENGO A REAFIRMAR EL COMPROMISO HISTÓRICO DE HERMANDAD ENTRE NUESTROS PUEBLOS”
Previamente el jefe de Estado del Perú, Pedro Castillo Terrones, expresó hoy su voluntad de reafirmar el compromiso histórico de hermandad entre Perú y Bolivia, al arribar a la ciudad de La Paz para participar del Encuentro Presidencial y VI Gabinete Binacional entre ambos países.

“Vengo a Bolivia en nombre del pueblo hermano de Perú a reafirmar este histórico compromiso de hermandad en el marco del VI Gabinete Binacional”, afirmó el jefe de Estado al ser recibido por su homólogo boliviano, Luis Arce, en la Base del Alto de La Paz. Durante la recepción se entonaron los himnos nacionales de Perú y Bolivia, tras lo cual el presidente Castillo estrechó un abrazo fraterno al mandatario del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia.

“Traigo el saludo de todos los compatriotas peruanos, de mis hermanos de los diferentes pueblos de la nación peruana, los ronderos, los maestros, los ashaninkas, los pueblos indígenas, los quechuas y los aymaras”, resaltó Castillo. Asimismo, el presidente peruano aseguró que estar en la ciudad de La Paz “es como estar en Chota” (Cajamarca), su lugar de origen.

Luego, el mandatario colocó una ofrenda floral en el mausoleo del Mariscal Andrés de Santa Cruz y Calahumana, ubicado en la Plaza Murillo de La Paz, en compañía de la presidenta del Consejo de Ministros, Mirtha Vásquez, y de 14 ministros de Estado que lo acompañan.

Tras el homenaje a quien es considerado como el Supremo Protector de la Confederación Perú-Boliviana, el jefe de Estado participó de la foto oficial junto a su homólogo boliviano y los ministros de ambos países.

En la Plaza Murillo, ambos presidentes recibieron el saludo de ciudadanos bolivianos quienes les entregaron ornamentos típicos de la zona. A continuación, el presidente Pedro Castillo sostuvo una reunión privada con su homólogo boliviano en la sede de Gobierno del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia, conocida como “La Casa Grande del Pueblo”.
