Perú concretaría negocios por US$ 8.5 millones para el turismo en Latinoamérica, generándose 1329 despachos.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Con el objetivo de impulsar la reactivación económica del turismo en nuestro país, la Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo (PROMPERÚ) en trabajo coordinado con sus oficinas en Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador y México organizaron siete ruedas de negocios virtuales en los últimos tres meses, a partir de las cuales se habrían generado expectativas comerciales por US$ 8.5 millones, a concretarse en los próximos doce meses.

Con un total de 1329 citas comerciales sostenidas en los espacios virtuales diseñados para la ocasión, 118 empresas peruanas del sector y 183 operadoras turísticas de los países antes mencionados realizaron importantes encuentros comerciales. De esta manera se incentivó la comercialización y diversificación de la oferta peruana en dichos mercados, y se capacitó al canal comercial sobre los principales destinos y productos turísticos del Perú.

Las experiencias promovidas en los encuentros estuvieron enfocadas al turismo de naturaleza, aventura, cultura, alta gama y gastronomía en las regiones de Amazonas, Arequipa, Cusco, Ica, Iquitos, Lima, Madre de Dios, Piura, Puno y Tumbes.

Entre los mercados con mayor potencial de negocios se encuentran Brasil con más de US$ 5 millones, seguido por Ecuador y México con proyecciones de ventas por US$ 890,650 y US$ 883,000 respectivamente. Cabe mencionar que, en Ecuador se realizaron dos ruedas de negocio y una de ellas estuvo abocada a promover el turismo de frontera, con énfasis en la promoción de la costa norte del Perú.

CAMPAÑA “DESPIERTA EN PERÚ”
Con la reactivación del turismo en marcha, en mayo de este año se lanzó la campaña “Despierta en Perú” para el mercado estadounidense y mexicano, la cual busca animar al viajero a planear su próximo viaje a Perú. La misma se ha extendido a Chile, Colombia, Brasil y próximamente a Ecuador.

La campaña publicitaria está dirigida a la generación X y a los millennials; y promociona al Perú como un destino de naturaleza, cultura, aventura y gastronomía, especialmente en las regiones de Cusco, Puno, Arequipa, Ica, Lima, Madre de Dios y Loreto.
