A fin de acelerar el proceso de vacunación, EsSalud anuncia la exitosa puesta en marcha del primer Vacunatorio Digital del Perú; un centro de inoculación que, bajo el principio de “cero papel”, utiliza plataformas digitales para todo el proceso de inmunización, ahorrando recursos y tiempo, en la lucha contra la COVID-19.

El presidente de EsSalud, doctor Mario Carhuapoma Yance, supervisó la llamada “marcha blanca” de este proceso digital en el Vacunatorio San Isidro Labrador de Santa Anita y anunció que, en el marco de la modernización de la gestión pública, esta propuesta online podría ser implementada también en las demás redes de la Seguridad Social.

“Trabaja con una ficha de vacunación que contiene información digitalizada. También, las firmas del usuario y del personal de salud se sistematizan. La innovación de este hospital debe ser replicada en las demás redes de EsSalud”, puntualizó el presidente ejecutivo del Seguro Social.

PASO A PASO
Desde la llegada del paciente a la admisión del vacunatorio, el aplicativo de uso exclusivo del personal de Salud, verifica los datos del ciudadano usando data del Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil (RENIEC) y procede a completar información referente a teléfonos de contacto y dirección.

Después, el paciente pasa al área de triaje y llena el consentimiento informado digital. La persona traza su firma sobre la tablet. Todo el procedimiento dura dos minutos.

Luego de recibir la información pertinente, el ciudadano será vacunado y remitido al área de monitoreo; donde se espera que, a futuro, pueda recibir su tarjeta de vacunación también digitalizada.

El Dr. Héctor Berastain, director del Hospital II San Isidro Labrador, explica que esta propuesta digital tiene muchos beneficios.

“El objetivo era reducir los tiempos de estancia dentro de los vacunatorios. Hemos logrado que el paciente permanezca por un tiempo corto, de dos a tres minutos, en cada área del proceso de vacunación. Esto reduce el contacto con otros pacientes, mantiene el aforo en los vacunatorios, conserva el distanciamiento social, reduce a cero el uso de papel y aumenta la velocidad de atención”, recalcó el Dr. Berastain.

Cabe resaltar que, el Centro de Vacunación San Isidro Labrador innovó al digitalizar los datos de los pacientes en un aplicativo web 2.0, considerado como una herramienta ecoamigable, la misma que solo requiere de una tablet para su uso.

Además, esta información queda alojada en un servidor externo dedicado, lo cual permite que almacene numeroso de registros.

Asimismo, el especialista precisó que el plan piloto entró en marcha blanca gracias al esfuerzo conjunto de la Oficina Informática del Hospital II San Isidro Labrador y de la Oficina de Coordinación de Tecnologías de la información del Centro Vacunatorio.
