PromPerú informó que el Perú es invitado de honor en prestigioso festival gastronómico Omnivore y París Coffee Show.

Perú se muestra en Omnivore con un pabellón imponente bajo el paraguas de la marca sectorial Super Foods Peru, donde se están realizando diversas actividades como la presentación de superalimentos, conferencias, masterclasses, y una exhibición de danzas peruanas, entre otras.

Es preciso mencionar que, como parte del festival, la Oficina Comercial de PROMPERÚ en Francia ha propiciado que reconocidos cocineros y cocineras peruanas presenten charlas y conferencias a lo largo del evento en distintos escenarios.

Representando a Perú, asisten Pía León galardonada como la mejor chef del mundo, Virgilio Martinez, chef del restaurante Central, sexto lugar de la lista de 50 Mejores restaurantes del mundo y Aaron Díaz, referente de la coctelería peruana y dueño de Carnaval, considerado uno de los mejores bares del mundo.

También, Carlos Camino, dueño del restaurante Miraflores y del bar Yka ubicados en Lyon, Francia, distinguido con una estrella Michelin, presentará una exposición sobre los productores y productos peruanos con los que trabaja.

El pisco, la quinua, los ajíes, el sacha inchi, la maca, sal de Maras, el maíz morado, entre otros Super Foods Peru son mostrados en esta importante palestra por 17 importadores que trabajan con aproximadamente 50 exportadoras peruanas. Allpampa, Amazon Andino, Latino Market, El Inti, Guayapi, La Casa Peruana, Marussia, Mezcal Brothers, Pardella Spirits, Spirit Latin Pisco, Sovex, Shanantina Francia, Sol Semilla, Tolentino Trading, Tumi De Oro y Ceviche Frachise, se encuentran en el pabellón peruano ubicado en la parte céntrica del festival.

Perú también está en el espacio Corners Chefs con restaurantes licenciatarios oficiales de la marca país. Lourdes Pluvinage del restaurante Picaflor luce platos de causa y arroz con pato, José Cervantes del restaurante MacchuPisko presenta su ceviche y sus empanadas, Maison Figari presenta alfajores rellenos de lúcuma para deleitar al público del evento. En la escena Pisco Spirit of Peru estará presente en la exhibición del barman del Pisco Bar de París, Christophe Pluvinage.

CAFÉS DEL PERÚ A LA CONQUISTA DEL PALADAR EUROPEO
Nuestro país también está demostrando porqué es uno de los mejores países cafeteros del mundo en el París Coffee Show, evento más importante de café en Francia organizado por la Federación Francesa de Café, que representa a todo el sector cafetero, desde el grano hasta la taza.

Es así que, con el objetivo de posicionar la marca sectorial Cafés del Perú, el stand presenta a dos cooperativas peruanas –Norandino de Piura y Ecoforest de Jaén- así como a tres empresas francesas importadoras de café peruano – Café de papa y La Minga- fundadas y dirigidas por dos mujeres peruanas, así como Saldac, la más antigua importada de productos peruanos de comercio justo.

La Oficina Comercial de PROMPERÚ en Francia realiza, además, durante estos tres días, actividades paralelas para dar a conocer nuestros productos y la versatilidad de nuestra gastronomía, es así que presentará una guía de restaurantes peruanos en Francia, donde a la fecha existen 55 establecimientos que representan a nuestro país.

Asimismo, previo al inicio de esta fiesta gastronómica en ciudad Luz, Pía León y Virgilio Martínez, realizaron un masterclass en la Escuela de Cocina del afamado Alain Ducasse; y para finalizar, el último día del Festival se realizará una cena a 6 manos entre los chefs peruanos y Mario Colareco del restaurante Mirasur, considerado el mejor del mundo.
