Quesos de Cajamarca y La Libertad en los primeros lugares en el I Concurso Macrorregional de Quesos organizado por el MIDAGRI.

Durante el evento, realizado el pasado viernes 08 de octubre en el marco de la edición N° 59 de la Feria FONGAL Cajamarca, participaron 16 plantas queseras de las regiones de Amazonas (1), Piura (1), La Libertad (3) y Cajamarca (11) con 44 tipos de quesos, correspondientes a las categorías: Paria, Andino, Innovación y Especiales.

El presidente ejecutivo de Sierra y Selva Exportadora, José Ezeta Carpio, destacó que los ganadores de este I Concurso Macrorregional de Quesos – Macrorregión Norte, junto a sus pares de la Macrorregión Sur y Macrorregión Centro, participarán en el “V Concurso Nacional de Quesos”, que será en noviembre próximo en Lima.

Sostuvo que desde el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego se trabaja por impulsar, con tecnología y asistencia técnica, a esta cadena productiva para lograr que nuestros quesos destaquen no solo por su sabor sino también por cumplir con los estándares de calidad e inocuidad, así como con certificaciones, que el mercado demanda.

Indicó que en el Perú existen aproximadamente 450 mil familias de productores de leche, el 85% de ellas son de subsistencia, y mejorando la rentabilidad de los productores de quesos el incremento se trasladaría a los productores de leche, que tendrían una mejor calidad de vida.

GANADORES
Durante el I Concurso Macrorregional de Quesos – Macrorregión Norte, que tuvo por finalidad promocionar e incentivar el consumo de quesos a nivel nacional, potenciando la cultura quesera en nuestro país, se reconoció a los tres primeros lugares en las cuatro categorías de queso.

En la categoría Paria, el primer lugar lo obtuvo Lácteos Huacariz (Cajamarca), mientras que Granja Porcón y Lácteos Conga, ambos de Cajamarca, lograron el segundo y tercer lugar, respectivamente. En tanto, en la categoría Andino, los tres primeros lugares fueron para Lácteos Conga (Cajamarca), Kisu LAC (Amazonas) y Lácteos Huanico (Cajamarca).

Mientras que en la categoría Innovación, el primer y segundo lugar fue para Lácteos Huacariz (Cajamarca) y el tercer lugar para Lácteos Conga (Cajamarca). En la categoría Especiales, los tres primeros lugares fueron para Perla del Paraíso (La Libertad), Granja Porcón (Cajamarca) y Agroindustrias Ilucan (Cajamarca).

Dicho concurso tuvo el apoyo del Gobierno Regional de Cajamarca, a través de la Gerencia de Desarrollo Económico, de la Coordinadora de Lácteos – CODELAC Cajamarca, el CITE Agropecuario y de los productores representados en el Fondo de Ganadería Lechera – FONGAL Cajamarca.

Es preciso indicar que Cajamarca produce diariamente un millón de litros de leche y con este tipo de eventos se busca generar valor agregado, pero también formalizar la industria láctea.

Sierra y Selva Exportadora, a través de la cadena de quesos (maduros y semimaduros), promueve la producción de quesos regionales, potenciando la cultura quesera e incentivando su consumo a nivel nacional, promoviendo su intercambio comercial.

The executive president of Sierra y Selva Exportadora, José Ezeta Carpio, highlighted that the winners of this I Macroregional Cheese Contest – North Macroregion, together with their counterparts from the South Macroregion and Central Macroregion, will participate in the “V National Cheese Contest” , which will be next November in Lima.

He argued that the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation is working to promote, with technology and technical assistance, this production chain to ensure that our cheeses stand out not only for their taste but also for meeting quality and safety standards, as well as with certifications, which the market demands.
