Igualmente, visitó la cuenca del río Ramis y dialogó con las autoridades locales.

A su arribo al aeropuerto de Juliaca el premier Guido Bellido fue recibido por el Gobernador Regional, Agustín Luque, y por autoridades regionales y locales, junto a quienes visitó las cuencas de Llallimayo y Ramis, que proveen el agua que consumen las poblaciones adyacentes.

Luego de arribar al aeropuerto de Juliaca, el jefe del gabinete ministerial visitó el sistema de captación de agua potable para Ayaviri, provincia de Melgar, y posteriormente instaló la mesa de trabajo para la implementación del referido plan, que contempla tres ejes de acción: ambiente y minería, salud y saneamiento, así como desarrollo sostenible.

Asimismo, se trasladó hasta el distrito de Asillo, donde constató la contaminación de la cuenca del río Ramis y se reunió con los alcaldes y representantes de organizaciones de la comunidad.

En diálogo con la población en la localidad de Progreso, el presidente del Consejo de Ministros se refirió a la necesidad de contar con una planta de tratamiento para obtener agua apta para la agricultura. Además, indicó que ya existe el presupuesto de partida para la represa Huacchani, pero que se requiere asignar todo el presupuesto. “De ello nos vamos a encargar con los congresistas y las autoridades”, afirmó.

En las reuniones en las que participó el titular de la PCM también intervinieron congresistas y funcionarios de los sectores involucrados, como el Ministerio del Ambiente y el Ministerio de Energía y Minas.

DECLARAN ESTADO DE EMERGENCIA
La Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros declaró estado de emergencia en los distritos de Coata, Huata y Capachica, de la provincia de Puno, y en el distrito de Caracoto, en la provincia de San Román, departamento de Puno. Esta medida obedece al peligro inminente ante la contaminación de agua para consumo humano y tendrá una vigencia de 60 días calendario.

Esta declaratoria de emergencia se oficializó mediante el Decreto Supremo N.° 158-2021-PCM, publicado hoy en el diario oficial El Peruano. La norma establece que en el plazo previsto el gobierno regional y los gobiernos locales comprendidos, con la participación de diversos ministerios e instituciones privadas vinculadas, ejecutarán las medidas y acciones de excepción, inmediatas y necesarias, de reducción del Muy Alto Riesgo existente, así como de respuesta y rehabilitación que correspondan.

Congressmen and officials from the sectors involved, such as the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Energy and Mines, also participated in the meetings in which the head of the PCM participated.

DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers declared a state of emergency in the districts of Coata, Huata and Capachica, in the province of Puno, and in the district of Caracoto, in the province of San Román, department of Puno. This measure is due to the imminent danger of contamination of water for human consumption and will be valid for 60 calendar days.

This declaration of emergency was made official through Supreme Decree No. 158-2021-PCM, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano.
