Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe A fin de fortalecer la respuesta del sistema sanitario de salud frente a la tercera ola del COVID-19, la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud (SUSALUD) prioriza este año, la supervisión integral de establecimientos de salud dedicados a la atención de la población infantil, para el manejo y control de la Pandemia, según lo dispuesto por el ente rector, el Ministerio de Salud.

Por ello, el día de hoy, equipos de supervisores de SUSALUD se encuentran desplegados en las siguientes instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud de Lima: Hospital Nacional Docente Madre – Niño San Bartolomé, Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño de Breña, Hospital de Emergencias Pediátricas, Hospital de Emergencias de Villa El Salvador y Hospital Emergencias Ate-Vitarte.

En el marco de promoción y protección de los derechos en salud de la población, el objetivo de la supervisión es verificar la operatividad sanitaria y administrativa de los establecimientos de salud, a fin de que establezcan las medidas pertinentes y oportunas para mejorar y fortalecer la respuesta sanitaria frente a la tercera ola del COVID-19.

Durante la visita, se recorren todos los ambientes (COVID-19 y No COVID-19) para la atención de la población infantil, poniendo especial énfasis en la verificación de los recursos necesarios para garantizar la atención de pacientes y la adecuada protección del personal sanitario a cargo de las atenciones, principalmente en las áreas críticas como las salas de emergencia, hospitalización, cuidados intensivos, entre otras.

Los hallazgos y recomendaciones resultantes de esta intervención se tomarán como oportunidades de mejora y se comunicarán formalmente tanto a los directores de los hospitales, como a sus respectivas Direcciones de Redes Integradas de Salud (DIRIS) para las acciones que resulten necesarias a fin de fortalecer la respuesta sanitaria frente a la tercera ola del COVID-19.
