Este espacio virtual cumple con las “Pautas de Accesibilidad para el Contenido Web (WCAG) 2.0 – Nivel A” en versión 2.0 y cuenta con una barra de herramientas que facilita el aumento y disminución del texto. Asimismo, permite la modificación del sitio web a escala de grises, alto contraste, contraste negativo, la elección de una fuente legible sin distorsionar el contenido del espacio virtual y la navegación con el teclado. También tiene la opción de subrayar enlaces y la función de audioparlante en todo el contenido, incluyendo las imágenes a través del texto alternativo.

La optimización de la página web Visita Lima, validada por el Consejo Nacional para la Integración de la Persona con Discapacidad (Conadis) y presentada en el marco del Día Mundial del Turismo, busca que todas las personas puedan conocer las actividades que se encuentra desarrollando la Subgerencia de Turismo de la comuna limeña.

Este proyecto municipal contribuye a la reactivación económica del sector turístico orientado hacia un desarrollo inclusivo sin dejar a nadie atrás, promoviendo la visita al Destino Lima respetando los protocolos de bioseguridad y el distanciamiento social. De esta manera la Municipalidad de Lima sigue brindando servicios accesibles y de calidad a todos los ciudadanos.
